Our pulmonary function lab offers a wide range of pulmonary function testing (breathing tests) to help physicians diagnose and manage breathing problems and/or lung disease.
Pulmonary function tests (PFTs):
- help measure the different aspects of lung function
- can help determine the cause of shortness of breath
- may help confirm lung diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- measure how a lung disease is progressing, or how serious it has become
- help assess how a patient is responding to different treatments
