Get the latest hospital updates, including progress on expansion projects and options for care during the fall and holiday seasons
William Osler Health System (Osler) is inviting community members to participate in its next Telephone Town Hall from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17. Participants will have the opportunity to hear about important Osler updates including the transformation of Peel Memorial, and where to go for care this fall and into the holiday season.
As always, residents will have an opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions of Osler’s senior leaders on the call, or by submitting questions in advance through Osler’s website.
Hosted by Dr. Frank Martino, Osler’s President and CEO, this live event will be moderated by Hema Ramlochan-Tuitt, a member of Osler’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). They will be joined by Osler leaders including; Kiki Ferrari, Chief Operating Officer; Ann Ford, Executive Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Services; Mary Jane McNally, Chief Patient Experience Officer; and Ken Mayhew, President and CEO, William Osler Health System Foundation.
“Hearing from the communities we serve is so important. Osler’s Telephone Town Halls are a great way to have vital two-way dialogue with people in Brampton, Etobicoke and surrounding areas,” said Dr. Frank Martino. “This forum is a valuable opportunity to connect with thousands of people from across our community and I encourage all residents to join the conversation.”
Mrs. Ramlochan-Tuitt concurs. “I am honoured to be a part of this event again. As a member of Osler’s Patient and Family Advisory Council and a resident of the community, I appreciate the importance of open conversation between health care leaders and community members. These sessions provide valuable updates, and a chance for the community to ask questions and share their feedback with the hospital directly.”
How to participate: On Thursday, November 17, starting 6:50 p.m., Osler will be phoning residents’ landlines (except those on Canada’s Do Not Call List) to connect them directly to Osler’s Telephone Town Hall. Residents interested in participating in the Telephone Town Hall can also pre-register and submit questions online or by leaving a voicemail with their name and phone number at (416) or (905) 494-2120 ext. 50200 before 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
