Osler invites residents to connect with hospital leaders at next Telephone Town Hall

Updates include the latest on Osler’s COVID-19 recovery and exciting hospital expansion plans

William Osler Health System (Osler) is inviting community members to participate in its next Telephone Town Hall on Tuesday, May 3 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., and to join the conversation about Osler’s COVID-19 recovery efforts, the transformation of Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health & Wellness into Brampton’s new hospital, the future of hospital services, the latest on its visitor policy and more.

As always, residents will have an opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions of Osler’s senior leaders on the call, or by submitting questions in advance through Osler’s website.

Hosted by Dr. Frank Martino, Osler’s Interim President and CEO, this live event will be moderated by Gurjit Kaur Bains, a member of Osler’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). They will be joined by Osler leaders including Linda Franklin, First Vice Chair, William Osler Health System Board of Directors; Kiki Ferrari, Chief Operating Officer; Ann Ford, Executive Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Services; and Ken Mayhew, President and CEO, William Osler Health System Foundation.

“Osler’s Telephone Town Halls provide the community with a real-time opportunity to engage with hospital leaders,” said Dr. Frank Martino. “For Osler, two-way dialogue with residents of Brampton, Etobicoke and surrounding areas is invaluable as it enables us to engage directly with those we serve, and hear their feedback first-hand. We hope as many as possible will join us on May 3 for important updates about the hospital, and the programs and services we know matter most to this community.”
