Get updates on Osler’s COVID-19 recovery and hospital construction projects
William Osler Health System (Osler) is inviting community members to participate in its upcoming Telephone Town Hall on Thursday, December 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Residents will have the opportunity to hear from Osler leaders regarding the hospital’s COVID-19 response and recovery, hospital construction projects, and health care tips going into the holidays. Participants can also ask questions of Osler’s leaders and provide feedback.
Hosted by Dr. Naveed Mohammad, Osler’s President and CEO, this live event will be moderated by Gurjit Kaur Bains, a member of Osler’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). Also joining the call are: Susan Britton Payne, Member of Osler’s Board of Directors; Kiki Ferrari, Chief Operating Officer; Ann Ford, Executive Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Services; Mary Jane McNally, Chief Patient Experience Officer; Francesca Fiumara, Director, Emergency, Critical Care, Respiratory Therapy; and Ken Mayhew, President and CEO, William Osler Health System Foundation.
“Our Telephone Town Hall meetings continue to provide us with a tremendous opportunity to connect with the community, and we thank the thousands of households who join our events,” said Dr. Naveed Mohammad. “I look forward to another live dialogue on December 2, and I encourage all residents to join us and to bring questions and feedback to this important conversation.”
Close to 120,000 households across Brampton, Etobicoke and surrounding areas will be contacted and invited to participate in the Town Hall via telephone just before the event begins.
“As a new member of Osler’s Patient and Family Advisory Council and a resident of the community, I’m thrilled to be moderating my first Osler Telephone Town Hall,” said Gurjit Kaur Bains. “I know how important it is to be connected to your hospital and I am honoured to be a part of this event. These Town Halls are an excellent opportunity for community members to engage in two-way dialogue with Osler’s leaders, and hear more about what’s happening at our local hospitals.”
