William Osler Health System (Osler) is inviting community members to participate in its next Telephone Town Hall from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2. Residents will hear about exciting developments for health care in our communities, including the transformation of Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness into Brampton’s new hospital, comprehensive cancer care and much more.
As always, residents are encouraged to provide feedback and ask questions of Osler’s senior leaders on the call, and to submit questions through Osler’s website both before and during the event.
Hosted by Dr. Frank Martino, Osler’s President and CEO, this live event will be moderated by Gurjit Kaur Bains, a representative on Osler’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) and member of the Brampton community. They will be joined by Osler leaders including: Stuart Johnston, Osler Board Director and Chair of the Governance & Human Resources Committee; Antonio Raso, Vice President, Clinical Services; Ann Ford, Executive Vice President, Corporate Services and Integrated Health Systems; Mary Jane McNally, Chief Patient Experience Officer; and Ken Mayhew, President and CEO, William Osler Health System Foundation.
“This is an exciting, transformational time for Osler and having the opportunity to share our updates and hear directly from the communities we serve is important,” said Dr. Frank Martino. “Telephone Town Halls are a wonderful way for residents of Brampton, Etobicoke and surrounding areas to connect with their local Osler hospitals, and I encourage residents to join the conversation on health care in our community.”
“Providing the community with an opportunity to engage in meaningful two-way communication with Osler’s leaders is important to me, other PFAC members and our community, and I am proud to see this commitment continue,” said Gurjit Kaur Bains. “I really enjoy moderating Osler’s Telephone Town Halls and being part of these important conversations.”
How to participate: On Tuesday, May 2, starting at 6:50 p.m., Osler will be phoning residents’ landlines to connect them directly to Osler’s Telephone Town Hall. Those interested in participating in the Telephone Town Hall can also pre-register and submit questions online or by leaving a voicemail with their name and phone number at (416) or (905) 494-2120 ext. 50200 before 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
