The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine is seeking a full-time associate.
The Division of Gastroenterology is seeking an associate hepatologist to join the Gastroenterology team at Brampton Civic Hospital. The successful applicant will cover mainly the hepatology service with some coverage of luminal GI call. Equal allocation of endoscopy time will be provided among hepatology staff. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.
Qualifications
The candidate must have a Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have a Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. An additional Fellowship in Hepatology is considered a strong asset. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.

The Division of Gastroenterology at Brampton Civic covers various services from luminal gastroenterology, advanced endoscopy and hepatology. The hepatology service offers fibroscan, paracentesis, and endoscopy to treat patients with various liver diseases such as viral hepatitis, fatty liver and autoimmune liver disease.
