The Department of Paediatrics is seeking a full-time associate. The candidates will participate in the general Paediatrics call schedule at Brampton Civic Hospital and Etobicoke General Hospital, participate in the patient care team service at both inpatient sites and work in the urgent paediatric assessment clinic. There are additional opportunities to participate in ambulatory clinics. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees. An interest in providing paediatric office-based care in the community would be an asset.
Qualifications
The candidates must have a Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have certification in General Paediatrics from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or hold Fellowship in General Paediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.
About the program
Osler is a designated regional maternal newborn and paediatric centre with an Advanced Level 2 NICU. Inpatient beds are comprised of 39 NICU beds and 26 inpatient paediatric beds.
