The Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine is seeking hospitalists. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a large group of dedicated hospitalists at Etobicoke General Hospital to provide care for inpatients, from the time of admission through to their transition from hospital. Responsibilities include care coordination for diagnosis and comprehensive treatment plans, communicating effectively with the multidisciplinary team, reviewing goals of care with patients and families, supporting hospital quality improvement initiatives and providing handover at transitions of care. We have flexible scheduling, without overnight on-call duties. Remuneration is stipend and fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.
Qualifications
The candidates must have a Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have certification in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or hold Fellowship in Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.

Our hospitalists work in the Department of Medicine at the Etobicoke General Hospital site and are well-supported by a collaborative team of specialists and allied health professionals with access to advanced diagnostic services and minimally invasive therapeutics in radiology and surgery.
