Inpatient units |
There are two children's mental health inpatient units at Brampton Civic: Child and Adolescent UnitThis ten-bed unit provides care to children and adolescents up to the age of 18 who are experiencing acute mental health symptoms. They are assessed, treated and discharged with family, school and community supports. An on-site school program may also be arranged as part of the treatment plan. Child and Adolescent Intensive UnitThis four-bed unit serves acutely ill children and adolescents who arrive through the Emergency Department. LocationBrampton Civic |
