Osler’s Respiratory Therapists use leading practices to evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.  They provide expert care and support across the hospital, and even in patients’ homes.

Asthma Education Clinic (for children and adults)

Certified Asthma Educators help patients understand asthma and related medications, recognize early warning signs and ‘triggers, and develop an action plan with their family doctor.

Telehomecare

Osler offers an innovative way for patients living with COPD and CHF to manage their condition at home.

We partner with Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) to provide Telehomecare to patients living with COPD and CHF. Funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Telehomecare links patients from their home, by telephone and internet, to registered nurses at Etobicoke General Hospital that will help patients learn to take charge of their health while remaining at home.
