Combined Intensive Care/Cardiac Critical Care Unit (ICU/CCU) |

24/7 regional heart attack team |
If you come to us with a heart attack from a blocked coronary artery, we offer the safe and effective care you need. Whether you arrive at Brampton Civic or Etobicoke General, you will bypass the Emergency Department and go straight to our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Our cardiologists will use a balloon catheter and stent to quickly open the blocked artery. Please note that patients at Etobicoke General are immediately redirected to Brampton Civic for this care. |

Telehomecare |
Our Telehomecare program links patients from home to registered nurses at Brampton Civic. Using telephone and internet communication, as well as vital signs monitoring devices, nurses monitor and support people to manage conditions such as heart failure or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and chronic heart failure. This program is funded by the Ministry of Health and provided in partnership with the Ontario Telemedicine Network. Please speak to your health care provider to learn if Telehomecare may be an option for you. |
