Arriving by car

The hospital is on the north-east corner of Bovaird Drive and Bramalea RoadFrom Hwy 401: 

  • From Hwy 401: exit onto Hwy 410 north to Brampton. Travel 14 km north to Bovaird Drive. Turn right (east) on Bovaird Drive East and travel 3 km to Bramalea Rd.
  • From Hwy 407: exit north onto Hwy 410. Travel 13 km north to Bovaird Drive. Turn right (east) on Bovaird Drive East and travel 3 km to Bramalea Rd.
  • From Hwy 403 eastbound: exit onto Hwy 410. Travel 14 km north to Bovaird Drive. Turn right (east) on Bovaird Drive East and travel 3 km to Bramalea Rd.

When you reach the hospital

  • For the Main Entrance: continue east past Bramalea Rd. Turn left at the next traffic light. Follow the roadway to the left towards the Main Entrance.
  • For the Emergency Department: turn left (north) on Bramalea Rd. Take an immediate right (east) onto the hospital property. Proceed to the STOP sign and turn right. Follow the signs to the Emergency Department.
  • For Entrance A or B: Turn left (north) on Bramalea Rd. Take an immediate right (east) onto the hospital property.

Arriving by public transit

Brampton Civic Hospital is served by four transit routes: Route 5 – Bovaird; Route 6 – Mackay; Route 15 – Bramalea; and Route 22 - Springdale. With the exception of Route 6 - Mackay, all routes are fully accessible. For more information, call 905-874-2999 or visit Brampton Transit’s website.

Parking

There are outdoor parking lots on all four sides of the hospital. There is also one covered parking garage, on the south-east corner of the property.

  • Daily Maximum - $15.00
  • Monthly Pass* - $90.00

  • 30-Day Flex Pass - $175.00

Flex passes can be transferred between patients and family/visitors, and between vehicles; include unlimited in-and-out privileges over a 24-hour period, and can be used any day and time up to one year from the date of purchase.

Daily parking passes are available from the Parking Payment Machines at the following locations:

  • Main entrance
  • Entrances A and B
  • Emergency department entrance
  • P1 and P3 parking garage lobbies

Monthly parking passes and 5, 10 and 30-day flex passes may be purchased from the parking office, located at the east entrance to the parking garage. The pass should be inserted into the entrance or exit gate.

  • By car (from Brampton Civic Hospital): Take Hwy 410 to Hwy 401 eastbound, exit onto the 400 South, then exit on Jane Street and head south. Turn right on Church Street. The Reactivation Care Centre will be on the right at 200 Church Street.
  • By car (from Etobicoke General Hospital): Take Humber College Boulevard south to Hwy 401. Take Hwy 401 eastbound, exit onto the 400 South, then exit on Jane Street and head south. Turn right on Church Street. The Reactivation Care Centre will be on the right at 200 Church Street.

Arriving by Public Transit

  • By TTC. The closest subway station is Lawrence West. The 59 Maple Leaf and 35 Jane buses are a short walk from the Centre.

During the construction phase of the redevelopment, visitor parking at Etobicoke General will use a ‘pay and display’ system. Monthly passes and flex passes may be purchased at the parking office located adjacent the Main Entrance. The flex passes will come in the form of a code which the user can input into the pay and display kiosk. The kiosk will print a ticket which must be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle.
